Layla is someone who just doesn't care. She dresses like a goth but doesn't consider herself as one. She never does her homework, and doesn't have many friends. She was only in a relationship once because she wanted to see what it was like. She doesn't like the thought of being in one now.

Tiffany Collins - Tiffany and Layla have been best friends since 3rd grade. Layla thinks only Tiffany can understand her, and can even communicate to the point of not even speaking and can basically read eachothers minds. Not literally though.
James Codney - Both James' and Layla's first relationship with someone, James thought Layla was hot, and only that. They first got together in 5th grade because Layla thought that maybe she should try that out. It went horrible with James cheating on her and Layla not trusting relationships like that ever again. She has only told the secret to Tiffany due to James blackmailing her a year later.
